Insert DrainTow® into 5-12mm port so that it can be seen extending inside.
Grasp DrainTow® securely and withdraw through 5mm port. DrainTow® automatically centers and seals the tubing within the port to prevent gas leak.
After the DrainTow® clears surgical port, continue to withdraw tubing until the drain is deployed within the abdominal cavity.
With an instrument inserted through an alternate port, adjust the position of the drain to the desired location.
Grasp tubing securely and remove 5mm port by sliding it completely free of tubing and DrainTow®. Suture tubing to skin leaving DrainTow® attached to prevent gas /fluid leak.
After completing the surgical procedure, cut tubing to desired length and connect to suction bulb reservoir.
